I loked today at tree countries to conpare their celebrations.

In australia is often very hot australians are baked in summer heat.

A traditionnal meal includes a turkey dinner,with ham ,and pork
Some australians and particularly tourists often have their christmas dinner at midday on a local beach [Bondi beach] thousands of people atracts on christmas day.

But in lebanon two weekes before christmas people plant seeds like chickpeas, wheatgrains, beans,lentils-in cotton wool they waterthem every day  and the seedes have about 6 inches at the christmas day.
Middle east people visit friends on christmas norning and are offered coffee liqueurs and sugared almonds and the most important meal of the whole family gathers together for it usually at grand parents  ..or eldest sons home the meal consists of chicken and rice and kubbeh which is made up of crushed boiled wheat mixed with meat,onion salt and paper

General Sir John Monash

John Monash was born in1865 in Western Victoria Australia , and died in1931 in Lona Victoria Australia. He is on the back of the one hundred dollar note.
He had  lots of occupations.These are some of them

• civil engineer
• university vice-chancellor

He was a proficient citizen-soldier before 1914,and a highly successful engineer in civil life.
Also, he commanded the 4th brigade at Gallipoli and was promoted to major general in June 1916 and given
command of the 3th division.
He said work was the best thing in life and the interesting things he built was a bridge in 1899. Apart from its grace and its famous builder the bridge is notable for being made of reinforced concrete which one of the first such structures in Australia.

I'm Mariam Safa and I came to Australia in 1991. I have been here for about 20 years.

I have two children. A boy in  year eleven and a girl, seventeen years old  this year. She is in her last year at school.  If she gets a good mark she'll go to college to study to be a counsellor.
